African Dynamics Group Head Office (Gauteng)
African Dynamics was established as a manufacturer and
distributor of food products in 1992.
In 1996, a new company PSNP Caterers was formed primarily for the supply
and distribution to the school nutritional feeding scheme program in
Gauteng. Since then, they are both active in the school feeding program
and food parcels distribution to the Dept of Welfare. Shares were sold
and distributed to a black shareholder who kept 50% of the shares in the
company up to now. African Dynamics Holdings (Pty) Ltd owned the other
50% of these shares.
In 2000, African Dynamics opened a new branch in the Eastern Cape to
accommodate our rapid growth, when African Dynamics Eastern Cape (Pty)
Ltd was formed with local role-players and African Dynamics Holdings
(Pty) Ltd as shareholders in this company.
In 2004, African Dynamics Holdings also procure 50% of the shares in
Soya Nutritional Foods (Pty) Ltd, a company that is well established in
the marketing of Soya based porridges and drinks to the institutional
and retail market, especially through the pharmacy network.
Recently, the subsidiary companies of the African Dynamics Group were
restructured and the companies were consolidated into the new African
Dynamics Group (Pty) Ltd, a black owned company.

Currently we are supplying food products to about 1,5 million people
in the country per day. This is mainly food to school feeding programs
and food parcels for Welfare and excludes the retail market.
The company has a long history of involvement in the manufacture and
supply of food products to the School Nutrition Program. The company has
supported a number of suppliers to the SNP with financial, logistics and
information technology resources.
The African Dynamics Group prides it selves in the positive way the
company has empowered and kept its constant growth going, through its
innovative and creative marketing and penetration of new market
segments.
We believe the success of the company was build on the outstanding
service delivery to each client and following the unique attitude of
always transferring the skills back to the very same people that was
supporting our business.
It was and still is the character of African Dynamics to help establish
small BEE projects and in assisting SMME's to start their own
businesses, so that they may one day also reap the benefits of their
entrepreneurship.
What does African Dynamics Group do?
African Dynamics Group is dedicated to providing the best foods
to people of varying requirements. Our goal is to build a world class
business with a leading position in South Africa, through products and
services that are appropriate and effective. With our 12 years of unique
experience and understanding of the African market, we are able to
provide culturally acceptable food products that are nutritious, cost
effective and convenient.
With the inputs and help from our affiliated companies and its
facilities in Gauteng and the Eastern Cape, we are able to address a
wide variety of requirements, typically from governmental departments,
non-governmental organizations (NGO's), international relief-aid
organizations and pharmaceutical companies.
Our approach to food and food supplements includes addressing general
nutrition and improved health through nutrition, and as such we operate
two business divisions, namely:
General Solutions.
General food solutions include food products and related services that
are suited to a variety of general requirements, including feeding and
relief-aid schemes.
Most of these products are pre-cooked, which means only water or milk
needs to be added, thus allowing food to be provided as "wet" (on-site)
or "dry" (take home) rations. Our products are proven to be culturally
acceptable to most inhabitants of Africa, and are described as meals,
which are easily digestible, palatable, energy-dense and
micronutrient-rich, without being bulky. Given the unique requirements
of our market, we prescribe to the following pre-requisites when
formulating and producing general food products:
- The product must be cost-effective
- The product must address both the taste and nutritional
requirements of recipients
- The ingredients in our products must be of high quality and from
a reliable and reputable source
- The product must be easily transportable and easily stored with
an adequate shelf life.
- The product must be easy to prepare.
As a preferred supplier to the South African government, we currently
feed in excess of 1.5 million people per day via a variety of feeding
programs. At African Dynamics Group we pride ourselves as a food
supplier of choice, particularly when considering the bulk supply of
nutritional food to feed our countries people.
Health Solutions.
Health food solutions deal with developing and marketing food products
that have a medicinal capability or that can be defined as a
complimentary medicine.
These are products that have been formulated to address more specific
nutritional requirements, such as those for people suffering from a
variety of illnesses, ranging from HIV/Aids, Cancer and Coronary Heart
Disease to Irritable Bowl Syndrome, Diabetes, and diarrhea.
Our approach in developing these products is to, by way of nutrition,
address the immune system and aid the body in either defending itself
against illness or dealing with the symptoms thereof.
This division has only started to boom recently after a Double Blind
Placebo Clinical Trial has proven the effectiveness of the product
B-Imune Energy Drink for people living with HIV Aids.
